MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 32-year-old man from Macomb County has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a young girl.
According to authorities, Larry Devere Middleton sexually assaulted a young girl multiple times in 2023. He was found guilty Jan. 17 of two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under 13, second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under 13, assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and indecent exposure.

He was sentenced to 25-75 years for the two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under 13 and sentenced to concurrent prison time on the other three charges.
Middleton is required to register as a sex offender and if he is released from prison, he will be electronically monitored for the rest of his life.
