A Northern Michigan home is among the most wishlisted stays on Airbnb.
Airbnb recently released its list of the most popular listings across the country, including everything from cozy cabins to a one-bedroom bus, to a helicopter and a yurt, showing guests’ growing preference for one-of-a-kind stays.
The Michigan property that landed a spot on the list is a domed home in Glen Arbor called The Round Haven.

The Round Haven is a 30-foot diameter circle home located on the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.
According to the listing, the home features the following:
- floor-to-ceiling windows
- 10-foot ceilings
- 2-acre wooded and landscaped property with perennials, flowers and forest of cedar, white pine, maple, birch and beech
Guests can also access Big Glen Lake across the street from the property.
Along with the list, Airbnb said that travelers are also booking last-minute trips and staying in properties closer to their homes more often.
The company’s data shows that searches for trips located within 50-300 miles of the travelers’ homes account for 25% of searches for trips this summer.
