Detroit police seek man who torched clothing store on St Patrick’s Day

DETROIT – Authorities in Detroit are looking for a man believed to have set fire to a store on the city’s east side.

It happened just after 12:30 a.m., March 17, at a clothing boutique near the intersection of Moross and Kelly roads. Shortly before the fire was set, the suspect was captured on surveillance camera.

The store was significantly damaged.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has any information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department’s Arson Unit at 313-596-2940. Tips can be made anonymously through CrimeStoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
