Clint Teeters, a neighbor, said he woke up to a loud noise. He walked out to his living room and saw that his front window was blown out.

He said he doesn’t know his neighbors very well. “Hopefully, the neighbors are okay,” he said.

Debris from Teeters’ neighbor’s home can be seen in the front of his yard.

Another neighbor who lives about two blocks away said he jumped right out of his bed when he heard an explosion early Thursday morning. He at first thought it was thunder, but he thought that was too loud of a noise to be just thunder. He then looked outside and saw flames.

It’s unclear how many people were in the home at the time of the explosion, but neighbors told Local 4 they saw a person being taken to the ambulance on a stretcher putting a thumbs up as they were being transported. Another person was injured in a neighboring home after it caught fire from the explosion. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.

This is a developing story.
