Police working to identify victims

DETROIT – Police are working to identify the three bodies they pulled from a burning car on Detroit’s west side early Sunday morning.

According to Detroit police, the bodies found in a car fire at around 6 a.m. on April 6 near 30th and Milford were burned behind recognition.

Investigators are trying to figure out if the three were dead before the fire or if they were burned alive.

Police are asking the community for help. Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP. Callers will remain anonymous.
