COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 21-year-old man from Burton was killed early Friday morning.

It happened just after midnight, April 11, at a Commerce Township home southeast of the intersection of Grand Traverse Street and Carroll Lake Road. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Sources tell Local 4 he was shot in the back of the head.

Authorities said the suspected shooter -- a 24-year-old man from Commerce Township -- has been taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
