2 charged in St. Clair County more than 7 years after murder

PORT HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two people have been charged with first-degree murder in St. Clair County more than seven years after the alleged crime.

Amanda Maison, 33, and Maurice Houle, 28, were formally charged Friday, April 11, 2025. Bond was denied for both.

The murder linked to these charges happened on Feb. 19, 2018, according to court records. More details of the case will be discussed during their arraignment, which could happen as early as Monday.
