DETROIT – After weeks of waiting, Savvy Sliders has revealed its “Shimmy Meal” in partnership with Detroit Pistons guard Malik Beasley.
The Shimmy Meal included three hand-breaded chicken fingers dipped in famous boom sauce, fries, Texas toast, and a drink of your choice for a limited time.

The meal is named after Beasley’s signature celebration, which he does after he makes a three-pointer.
Speaking of threes, the potential Sixth Man of the Year finished second (319) in the NBA for most makes beyond the arc in the 2024-25 season by Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Anthony Edwards (320).
Savvy Sliders, which opened its first Michigan location in 2018 in Commerce Township, launched the meal on April 11, 2025.
They said the meal will be available across Michigan for a limited time.
Grab yours ahead of the Pistons’ first-round NBA playoff game vs. the New York Knicks on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 6 p.m. inside Madison Square Garden.
