The franchise is owned and operated by Detroit native Greg Russell. “My goal is to cultivate a place where love is at the center of everything we do – serving our Guests with care, supporting our Team Members and giving back to the community," he said in a release.
The location will create approximately 130 jobs, according to the news release.
Chick-fil-A has more than 3,000 locations across North America.
The fast food chain first opened in Michigan back in 2015, with more than 25 locations operating in the state in 2025. The company said last year that it planned to open 25-30 new locations by 2028.
