DETROIT – Saturday marks two weeks since the disappearance of 17-year-old London Thomas from Inkster.
As the search continues, the emotional toll on her loved ones becomes increasingly evident.
“Not well. Not well. I’m holding it together as good as possible. Every moment is torture. Whatever you know, if there’s anything that I can say is just that everybody supporting and loving us and helping us is getting me through. Other than that, I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed,” said Jasma Bennett, the mother of Thomas.
Detroit police, along with the FBI, searched the home of the teen’s boyfriend on Carlysle Street in Inkster on Thursday (April 17). This is the second time his home has been searched.

Thomas was last seen on April 5 when she was dropped off at the Carlysle Street home.
Bennett said she hasn’t heard much from the police.
“Not much about the investigation or anything else that is really going on at this time has not been released to me,” she said.
A spokesperson for the Detroit Police Department told Local 4 that there were no updates on the investigation.
Bennett said she has no idea what could have happened to her daughter.
“I don’t know if this is some type of crazy sex ring type of thing. I don’t know if she’s just been abducted, if somebody tried to hurt her. I don’t know. I don’t know. Every moment is fear. And I have like 1,000 more ideas of terror that I have to think about,” Bennett said.
Bennett said the family is planning to have another search for Thomas in the coming days, and the details are still being finalized.
