Detroit police searching for missing 13-year-old girl

Brittany Stringer didn’t make it home from library

DETROIT – Police are asking for help locating a 13-year-old girl.

Brittany Stringer was last seen on Friday, April 18, 2025, and is missing from the 300 block of East Grand Boulevard. She didn’t return home after going to the library, according to police.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue sweatsuit, and gray New Balance brand sneakers.

She is described as being 5′6′’ tall, weighs 123 pounds, has brown eyes, and black and red hair that is in two pony tails.
