The Detroit Pistons are reportedly finalizing a deal to send two players and two draft picks to Washington for two players on expiring deals.

According to ESPN’s Woj, the Pistons are trading Marvin Bagley III, Isaiah Livers, and two second-round picks to Washington for forwards Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala. The Wizards will get 2025 and 2026 second-round picks in the trade.

“Detroit moves Bagley’s contract ($12.5M in 2024-2025) for two future second-round picks. Livers ($1.8M), Gallinari ($6.8M) and Muscala ($3.5M) are on expiring contracts,” Woj added.

Detroit has won just three games this season, and are clearly trying to create more flexibility.

Gallinari, 35, will add some outside shooting to the worst three-point shooting team in the NBA.
