Detroit Pistons to celebrate 20 year anniversary of 'Going to Work' team at Little Caesars Arena

Pistons defeated Lakers in infamous five-game sweep

DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise’s third NBA championship.

Members of the “Going to Work” team will be on hand for a special game-day recognition.

The Detroit Bad Boys 3.0 will be honored on Sunday, March 17, when the current Pistons take on the Miami Heat at Little Caesars Arena.

The 2004 Pistons, which featured the “Best 5 Alive” with “Big” Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Tayshaun Prince, Richard “Rip” Hamilton, and finals MVP Chauncey “Mr. Big Shot” Billups, defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, which had Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Gary Payton and Karl Malone Lakers in the infamous five-game sweep in the finals.
