DETROIT – Every place Jim Harbaugh has coached, he has been successful, either in college or the pros. And he has always done two things which has put him well ahead of the crowd.

Harbaugh is known as the Quarterback Whisperer, and he’s been able to do that with players like Andrew Luck, JJ McCarthy, and Colin Kaepernick, three players that definitely made their mark with Harbaugh.

But the secret is a completely different item. And Harbaugh spilled the beans at the owners meeting in Orlando earlier this week. He was asked about building a football team, and he went right to the reason he’s been so successful...the offensive line.

That’s right, the big guys upfront get a ton of love from Jim Harbaugh.

Harbaugh says the success of the offensive line is the single most critical part of a football team, and its success means success for all facets of your team. He says even the defensive line does well because a 12-play drive by the offense means rest for the defense, which means a better defense.

An interesting take from a guy who has proven himself time and again in the game of football.
