Kim worked for several major market television stations before finally calling Detroit home in 2014.
 
She graduated from The University of South Carolina.  Kim drove 18-wheelers for FedEx and fueled airplanes to pay her way through college.
 
She’s an award-winning journalist being recognized with several Regional Emmy Awards for her work as a News Anchor and Producer. She was part of the team awarded the prestigious National Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast in 2022. Kim was named Best News Anchor by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters in both 2017 and 2019.

A member of the Detroit Chapter of the Links, Inc., Kim enjoys spending her free time with her son and restoring her historic Detroit home built in 1930.
