North American International Auto Show moves reimagined show to Sept. 28 through Oct. 9, 2021
DETROIT โ The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) announced that it will move its reimagined indoor and outdoor show, originally planned for summer 2021, to Sept. 28 through Oct. 9, 2021. โSpreading out major auto shows is a win for everyone, particularly our partners. North said the Sept. 2021 show will include the same product experiences that were originally planned for the June show. NAIAS will also host seven shows in one: Motor Bella, The Gallery, Press Preview, AutoMobili-D, Industry Preview, Charity Preview and Public Show. Will Woodward Dream Cruise be canceled? If not, it will look very different
DETROIT โ The Woodward Dream Cruise hasnโt officially been canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) yet, but Local 4 has learned if the event does go on, it will look very different. UPDATE June 29, 2020 -- 2020 Woodward Dream Cruise is canceled due to coronavirusThe Dream Cruise, scheduled for Aug. 15 this year, is one of the premiere events in Metro Detroit, bringing more than 1.5 million cruisers and 50,000 classic cars. Local 4 obtained an email from Michael Lary, director of special events for Ferndale, showing the summer events canceled due to COVID-19. The email includes the Woodward Dream Cruise. In Ferndale, that means the Ferndale cruise events along Nine Mile Road, Mustang Alley and the Rock 'N Live entertainment.
