National Weather Service issues freeze warning for all of Metro Detroit
DETROIT โ The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning Thursday for most of southeast Michigan from 4 a.m. until 9 a.m. Friday. The freeze warning has been issued for Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. Temperatures are expected to fall below 32 degrees. The NWS warns it could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and could damage unprotected plumbing.
Thunderstorm watch for Genesee, Lenawee, Livingston and Washtenaw counties expires
GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. The National Weather Service issued a thunderstorm watch for Genesee, Lenawee, Livingston and Washtenaw counties until 2 a.m. Saturday. Severe thunderstorm warning expires in Washtenaw, County
WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. The severe thunderstorm warning for Washtenaw County expired at 3:30 p.m. Friday. The National Weather Service issued the warning around 2:50 p.m.LIVE RADAR: Rain, storms rolling through Metro DetroitA line of severe storms was located at 3 p.m. from about Ann Arbor to near Willis to Milan, according to the National Weather Service. Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Sanilac County until 10:45 a.m. Monday
SANILAC COUNTY, Mich. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Sanilac County until 10:45 a.m. Monday, the National Weather Service announced. A severe storm was seen near Ubly moving east at 25 mph, officials said. The storm is expected to be near Forestville around 10:30 a.m. Monday. Thunderstorm warning issued for Livingston, Washtenaw counties
DETROIT The National Weather Service issued a thunderstorm warning for Livingston and Washtenaw counties. The warning lasts until 10:45 p.m.You can read the full forecast here. A heat advisory has also been issued for Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties will continue until 12 a.m. Friday.
Wayne, St. Clair counties under severe thunderstorm warning
Severe thunderstorm warnings are popping up in southeaster Michigan this afternoon. Wayne County is now under a severe thunderstorm warning until 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. St. Clair County is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. Much of the region remains under a heat advisory through the rest of the day. Severe thunderstorm warning issued in Monroe, Lenawee counties until 5:30 p.m.
DETROIT A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued in Monroe and Lenawee counties. The warning is in effect until 5:30 p.m. Friday. At 4:23 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Britton and Tecumseh, moving east at 20 mph, the National Weather Service reports. Winds of up to 60 mph are possible, officials said. The thunderstorm is expected to affect the following areas in the county:Milan and Dundee -- 4:50 p.m.Ida -- 5:10 p.m.Maybee -- 5:15 p.m.Monroe and Carleton -- 5:30 p.m.Newport, Ogden Center, Erie, Woodland Beach, Ridgeway, Stony Point, Palmyra, Bolles Harbor, Samaria and Azalia could also be affected.
