New exhibit at The Henry Ford puts you in the driverโs seat
There is new exhibit racing into the Henry Ford. It is called โDriven to Win.โ The exhibit is the first of its kind, and highlights the history of racing in America, from its earliest days until now. Henry Ford Museum to open โDriven to Winโ an American auto racing exhibition presented by General Motors
DEARBORN โ The first exhibition covering various forms of American auto racing will open on March 27 inside the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. The exhibit covers stock car, sports car, drag racing, Indy car, hill climbing and land-speed racing. The In the Driverโs Seat Simulators presented by Brembo, allow visitors to virtually experience what itโs like to drive the worldโs fastest cars on the most challenging tracks. WDIV partners with The Henry Ford, DSO for Salute to America TV only event
WDIV-Local 4 is partnering with The Henry Ford and Detroit Symphony Orchestra to present Salute to America, a TV only event on July 3 at 8 p.m., to kick off the Fourth of July weekend. For the first time in its 28-year run, Salute to America concerts will not be held in Greenfield Village during the Fourth of July weekend. WDIV-Local 4 will produce an hour-long primetime program filled with all the music and fanfare for which the Salute to America concerts are known and loved. Jason Carr and Tati Amare of Local 4s Live in the D will host the special from Greenfield Village at The Henry Ford. The televised special will remain proudly supported by the events long-time sponsors Bank of America and Ford Motor Company.

Henry Ford Museum extends closures due to coronavirus pandemic
DEARBORN, Mich. The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn announced Friday that it will remain closed through June 28 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. MORE: Coronavirus in Michigan: Heres where we stand as of Saturday morningIn addition to the museum closure the institutions 2020 Summer Camps are also canceled. Officials say a new task force has been established to develop a phased reopening plan for the museum that focuses on protecting public health and safety.
