Friends of the Children-Detroit celebrating National Mentoring Day

January is National Mentoring Month. This Saturday is actually National Mentoring Day. One-by-one, one mentor at a time, a national nonprofit is working to break intergenerational cycles of poverty, violence and trauma. This weekend, Friends of the Children-Detroit will be celebrating National Mentoring Day with a big event. The group will honor current mentors and work on an exciting STEM project.
