Survey reveals gender gap in cardiac care as only 17% of cardiologists are women

Heart disease is the number one killer of men and women. However, a new survey shows many women are not finding the care they want from a female cardiologist. That's because only about 17% of cardiologists are women, creating a significant gender gap in cardiac care.
