Arraignment expected for suspect in Troy hospital shooting

A shooting incident at the Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital parking complex led to a county-wide police search, culminating in the suspect's arrest at his home in Macomb Township. The suspect, an employee at the hospital and former friend of the victim, allegedly fired five shots, injuring the victim twice in the arm. Police were able to identify the suspect quickly with the help of the victim, leading to a SWAT team negotiating his peaceful surrender. The hospital and nearby schools were temporarily locked down until the suspect's arrest, and authorities are yet to disclose a motive for the shooting.
