Detroit families concerned about long-term impact of floods
The City of Detroit is actively working on cleaning up and repairing homes affected by a major water main break in Southwest Detroit. While progress is being made, some residents and community advocates express concerns over ongoing structural and health challenges. Director Brown of Detroit’s Water and Sewerage Department has requested warranties for replaced appliances and pipes, with the claims period ending on April 3rd. To date, over 400 claims have been filed, including 71 related to vehicles.
