GLWA, DTE urge residents to brace for storm impact

The Great Lakes Water Authority advises residents in low-lying areas to remove valuables from basements due to potential flooding. DTE Energy warns of possible power outages caused by damaging winds, stating that they have 2,000 line workers in-state and an additional 600 from out of state to respond. While ice is not a significant threat, the combination of wind and rain is a major concern.
