‘I don’t know what to do’: Detroit realtor rescues emaciated dog left in cold, dirty basement

A Detroit realtor discovered an emaciated dog named Faith in a cold, filthy basement on the east side of the city, where the dog's owners were being evicted. Theresa Sumpter from Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue intervened, finding Faith too weak to stand and suffering from severe neglect. The dog was rushed to Advanced Animal Emergency for urgent medical care, and her condition slowly improved, increasing her survival chances.
