Looking for a fun weekend getaway? Check out the 3rd Annual Traverse City Comedy Festival from April 10th to April 12th! Enjoy a variety of performances, including improv, roast battles, and stand-up, featuring comedians from across the country and Metro Detroit. The festival will take place across eight venues, including the Traverse City Comedy Club, City Opera House, Old Town Playhouse, Encore 201, The Workshop Brewing Company, The Alluvion, Hotel Indigo, and Park Place Hotel. Headliners include Marc Maron, Jay Pharoah, Natasha Leggero, Josh Blue, and the “Funny Women of a Certain Age.” Don’t miss out on the laughs!

The Month of April

Downtown Dearborn

April is Art Month in Dearborn, celebrating arts, culture, and creative opportunities for both residents and visitors. This special month is organized by the Dearborn Recreation Commission and the Cultural Arts Committee with support from the Dearborn Community Fund. It features numerous mostly free and family-friendly events, programs, and activities throughout the city. Cranbrook Art Museum

Did you know that every Thursday Cranbrook Art Museum is open late and has free admission? Well, you do now. Currently, the museum has three new and two ongoing exhibits you can check out when you visit. If a Thursday museum visit doesn’t work into your schedule, you can visit from 11am-5pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday for $6-$10.

Jack White: The No Name Tour

This weekend, Jack White will perform two back-to-back shows in Detroit. Last year, he mainly focused on small club performances to celebrate his Grammy-nominated album, ‘No Name’. However, for 2025, Jack White has expanded his tour to a worldwide scale. You can see him perform on Saturday or Sunday at his favorite venue, The Masonic Temple.
