Fun ways for the kids to celebrate Valentine’s Day

The holiday goes beyond paper valentines

Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples, it’s also a fun holiday for the kids. Little Guide Detroit founder Kerry Doman has ideas for helping the little ones in your life celebrate too.

Valentine’s Day can mean it’s time to get crafty. Kerry suggests crafts like paint-your-own wooden heart kits, sticker paint books, and Valentine’s Day-themed LEGOs.

The kiddos also might need a box for the Valentine’s Day goodies they get at school, so why not have them decorate those boxes themselves?

You can also get creative with decorating sweet treats, such as milkshakes.

Kerry shared an idea for getting Valentine’s Day-themed window clings that can help add some festive colors and fun to your home.
