More than twenty restaurants are coming together for a week of dining specials that give you a chance to try a variety of options in the Grosse Pointe area.
“The Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce started Restaurant Week to encourage people to support our local restaurants, go out to eat, try something new, and support our community,” explained Abigail Turnbull, the events coordinator with the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce.
From Alama Kitchen to Antonio’s in the Park to The Bricks Pizzeria, and beyond, restaurants in the Grosse Pointe area will be serving up a variety of dishes during Restaurant Week. Diners can count on seafood over at Brine Oyster House.
“We have a three course menu available starting with a traditional Caesars salad, going into Cioppino, which is a West Coast San Franciso seafood stew, tomato, white wine-based and then a variety of seafood. We have shrimp, muscles, scallop, and we have some cod in there,” said Brine Oyster House Executive Chef Gavin Russell. He added that diners can finish off the meal with frozen chocolate mousse.
“We encourage people to take advantage of some of these great specials, a lot of prix fixe menus, some unusual menu items, and everything in between,” Turnbull said.
Grosse Pointe Restaurant Week runs through Saturday, March 8th. Watch the video above to see some of the dishes that are being served up at participating restaurants.
