The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is heading to Metro Detroit this week!
The 27-foot-long hot dog-shaped vehicle travels across the U.S. to advertise Oscar Mayer products. Oscar Mayer’s nephew created the first Wienermobile in 1936, and there are currently six Wienermobiles in operation.
The Wienermobile will be making stops in Metro Detroit from Thursday, Dec. 19, through Sunday, Dec. 22. Here’s where and when you can catch the iconic hot dog on wheels:

- Thursday, Dec. 19: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Walmart at 29555 Plymouth Road in Livonia
- Friday, Dec. 20: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Walmart at 7555 Telegraph Road in Taylor
- Sunday, Dec. 22: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Walmart at 14900 Dix Toledo Road in Southgate
