OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A human trafficking task force in Oakland County has made its first arrest.
Damon Napier, 61, was taken into custody in connection to two cases in Southfield and Warren.
Napier faces ten counts, including criminal sexual conduct, prostitution and human trafficking.
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said anyone can be a victim of human trafficking, and the task force wants to catch more criminals like Napier.
Investigators believe there are more victims in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the National Human Trafficking hotline at (888) 373-7888.
