Authorities arrested four people and seized more than a million dollars, drugs and guns in connection to an ongoing narcotics investigation in Metro Detroit.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) executed eight search warrants.
Detectives seized seven handguns, a rifle, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills, psilocybin mushrooms, bulk marijuana and prescription pills, according to state police.
In addition to these items, more than $1.2 million with intent to forfeit, according to state police.
Four people were arrested, and police say they are continuing to investigate additional suspects.
The enforcement team was assisted by the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, FBI, DEA and the Clinton Township, Center Line, Shelby Township and Troy police departments.
