A winter storm is expected to bring snow to most of Michigan Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
Snow accumulations between 3-6 inches are expected in some portions of Southeast Michigan. Some areas around and south of I-94 may see a wintry mix that includes freezing rain or sleet, which could lead to a light glaze of ice accumulations.
Snow is expected to start as early as 3 p.m., but heavier snow could push through between 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Macomb, Sanilac and St. Clair counties where 6 to 8″ of snow is expected through tonight with the heaviest snow from late afternoon to late evening.
