Thousands gather at Bernie Sanders ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ rally in Warren

Thousands of people came out for the Senator Bernie Sanders rally in Warren Saturday.

While on stage, Sanders estimated 9,000 people attended his rally at Lincoln High School.

The rally was part of Sanders’ tour titled “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here”.

Sanders talked about his feelings on the Trump administration, claiming the country is being taken over by billionaires and large corporations.

Sanders intentionally chose Warren for his rally, as he is picking districts that were narrowly won by Republicans in 2024.

Sanders encouraged the crowd to call on Republican U.S. Representative John James to hold a town hall and listen to his constituents concerns.

During his remarks, Sanders expressed concern about the Trump administration making big cuts to government, telling his supporters that Congress needs to vote against any cuts to Medicaid, housing, nutrition and education.

UAW President Shawn Fain introduced Sanders after warming up the crowd.
