ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A popular restaurant in Ann Arbor is closing its doors next month. Red Hawk Bar & Grill posted on social media saying that “after much consideration, we have come to the difficult decision to close our doors after 33 years of business.”
Red Hawk Bar & Grill, S. State St. has been serving customers since 1992.

The company says the reasoning behind the closing was due to the pandemic and rising food costs which “made it increasingly difficult to continue operating in the way we had always hoped.” “The past few years have tested us in all the ways we never anticipated, and while we’ve fought to overcome these challenges, the financial strain has become insurmountable,” the post read.
The restaurant went on to thank its customers who have supported the business over the past 33 years and says it’ll cherish the memories they’ve created.
Red Hawk Bar and Grill will close on May 3.
