Clerk, customer argument escalates into shooting at Southfield gas station

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A verbal argument between a gas station clerk and a customer escalated into an exchange of gunfire in Southfield.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (April 1) at 7:24 p.m. at the Shell Gas Station located at 24839 Greenfield Road.

Police said no one was injured, but the customer and the clerk were arrested.

The investigation is ongoing, but anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Southfield Police Department at (248)-796-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up.
