On March 28, after a 911 caller reported a disturbing image found on social media, allegedly of Ciaciuch in a sexualized position with a dog, authorities began their investigation.

According to sources, the caller contacted police after seeing the photograph of Ciaciuch with his genitals out and what is described as inappropriate sexual contact with the dog.

The image reportedly included identifying information that helped officers locate Ciaciuch quickly.

Sources tell Local 4 Warren Police were able to make contact with Ciaciuch quickly and at his residence. During the initial conversation, Ciaciuch reportedly made incriminating statements regarding the disturbing image in question. Further investigation led to additional admissions, according to sources.

Sources confirmed that Ciaciuch admitted to exposing himself and allowing the dog to engage in inappropriate sexual contact. It was later discovered that the dog involved had died years prior to the image being posted and after the alleged incident occurred.

“This incident was reported to the Warren Police Department in the end of March with officers and investigators taking swift action,” said Lt. John Gajewski with the Warren Police Department. “The allegations in this incident are clearly troubling and very disturbing on multiple levels. The investigation has confirmed that Mr. Ciaciuch no longer has any animals in his possession. We are thankful that the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office issued serious charges so that Mr. Ciaciuch will be held accountable for his highly inappropriate conduct.”

Ciaciuch was formally arraigned on March 31. Court records indicate Ciaciuch was given a $20,000 bond. A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for May 13, 2025.
