Fiancé arrested after fatal shooting of 23-year-old woman in Highland Township

The fiancé of 23-year-old Rachel Renee Wooten, who was shot and killed in Highland Township, has been arrested. (WDIV)

The fiancé of 23-year-old Rachel Renee Wooten, who was shot and killed in Highland Township, has been arrested.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (April 15) around 4 p.m. at a residence in the 200 block of Maple in Highland Township.

A 21-year-old Highland Township man, who reported the shooting in a 911 call, saying he had shot himself and his fiancée, was taken into custody at the scene.

Wooten was pronounced dead at the scene where she and the 21-year-old man lived together.
