A Michigan man wants to help others after winning a lottery jackpot.

The 69-year-old Ottawa County man, who decided to stay anonymous, won a $667,862 Double Win Wild Time Fast Cash jackpot from the Michigan Lottery.

“I play Fast Cash games all the time,” said the player. “I bought a few Fast Cash tickets while I was out to eat with my family and saw I matched number 44 with ‘Jackpot’ underneath. I handed the ticket to my son and jokingly said: ‘What does jackpot mean?’ He freaked out and scanned the ticket on his Lottery app to double check it.”

The player purchased the winning ticket at Freeman’s Leaky Tap at 10193 Dickinson Avenue in Walkerville. In 2024, a player won a $111,368 Jackpot Slots Fast Cash jackpot from a ticket purchased at this retailer, according to Michigan Lottery officials.

The player recently claimed his prize and already has plans for his winnings.

“Winning is a nice little kicker and will allow me to help others,” the player said.

He plans to share with his family and donate to charities and his church, lottery officials said.

Fast Cash tickets range from $2 per play up to $30 per play. Every ticket gives players the chance to win all or a portion of a progressive jackpot.
