DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. โ Police in Dearborn Heights are looking for woman in connection with a Thursday morning bank robbery. According to authorities, the the robbery happened at about 11 a.m. at the Bank of America located near the intersection of Ford and Telegraph roads. DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. โ Police are investigating a multiple-homicide at an apartment complex in Dearborn Heights that ended in a police shooting on Saturday. โThank God he didnโt kill me,โ McCullough said of the gunman. โThe police came, but he started shooting at them.โMcCullough said there was about a five minute standoff before the gunman was killed by police officers. He also said that police gave the gunman every opportunity to put down his weapon, but he would not comply. Police confirmed Saturday night that it started as a domestic incident and the gunman was related to one of the victims.

Dearborn Heights police search for missing 14-year-old
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. โ Dearborn Heights police are seeking the publicโs helping in finding 14-year-old Aunika Nevers, who was reported missing this week. Police said the teen reportedly left home between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. while her mother was at work. The teenโs mother told police Aunika has short hair but may be wearing a wig. DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. Dearborn Heights police are searching for 32-year-old Roberta Jean Sawyer last seen Tuesday walking west on Annapolis Street toward Inkster. John German was last seen Thursday in the area of Joy and Ann Arbor roads in Dearborn Heights, according to authorities. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs around 160 pounds, officials said. 20 year Dearborn Heights police veteran dies after battling cancer
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. - The Dearborn Heights Police Department said Tuesday that a 20-year veteran of the force died after battling cancer. Lt. Bruce Krot had cancer for the past few years, the department said in a Facebook post. He is credited with making more than 1,500 drunken and drugged driving arrests and received the Mothers Against Drunk Driving award 16 times in his career. "Bruce is and will ALWAYS remain a legacy at the Dearborn Heights Police Department. He will truly be missed by every life that he had the opportunity to touch," the post read.
