More than a dozen shots were fired into a crowd outside Ascension St. John Hospital on Moross Road, officials say. Police are now connecting the shooting at the hospital to another shooting that happened on I-94 Monday (June 13) afternoon.

2 taken into custody after police pursuit through Detroit
DETROIT โ Michigan State Police released footage of a Friday night police pursuit through the streets of Detroit. According to authorities, two people pointed weapons at a Detroit police officers and drove off in a Dodge Charger. Police said the pursuit began just after 10:30 p.m near the intersection of Evergreen Road and I-96. The pursuit ended when the Charger ran a stop sign near the intersection of Kentfield Street and I-96 and struck a DPD cruiser. MSP said the Dodge Charger was confirmed stolen and a stolen handgun was also recovered.

DETROIT โ Witnesses reported two vehicles exchanging gunfire while speeding down I-96 about 10 p.m. Monday. One of them was struck by another vehicle on I-96 while trying to flee the scene of the crash on foot. The vehicles -- a Dodge Charger and a Dodge SUV -- eventually crashed along the westbound I-96 express lanes near Schaefer Highway. The third victim was in the other vehicle involved in the shooting. However, another vehicle, that was not involved in the shooting or crash, ended up fatally striking this person.

He always locks his car doors and takes the key fob with him to keep people from stealing it. โWeโd seen the car wasnโt in the driveway on the camera. It took them 3 minutes, to get the sunroof open. He said the thieves took his car on a joy ride and crashed it.

DETROIT Detroit police said three people, including a 2-year-old girl, were injured in a collision Tuesday in the 2200 block of Davison Street. Police said the 2-year-old and her 22-year-old mother are listed in critical and stable condition respectively. The person, who was driving a 16-wheel semi, is also listed in critical condition. A preliminary investigation indicated the girls mother was driving an orange Dodge Charger traveling east on Davison when she collided with the semi as it traveled west. DETROIT โ A Detroit public schools police officer has been rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car that was doing donuts. It happened Tuesday night in the parking lot of Cass Technical High School. Officials aid a green Dodge Charger was doing donuts in the parking lot. Officers initiated a traffic stop and when an officer stepped out of the vehicle to approach the Charger, the suspect vehicle allegedly pinned the officer against the police cruiser. The driver is in police custody and the passenger of that vehicle is being questioned by police.

DETROIT Police are seeking the driver of a gray Dodge Charger who allegedly injured three people early Monday morning. According to officials at about 2:10 a.m. the three individuals were watching the unknown driver of the Dodge Charger do donuts in the area of Livernois and West Warren Avenue. Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the three pedestrians and then fled south on Livernois. 2 arrested in Somerset Mall carjacking
TROY, Mich. โ Two people are in police custody after allegedly hijacking a vehicle outside of Somerset Mall on Thursday morning. Police say at about 7:30 a.m. two males were approached by four people in a silver Nissan when exiting the mall. Two suspects took the victimsโ 2016 black Dodge Charger and fled the scene while the other two suspects fled the scene in the Nissan. A black 2016 Dodge Charger was hijacked from two people at Somerset Mall on the morning of July 23, 2020. The two suspects from Tennessee are being housed at the Jackson County Jail and are expected to be arraigned soon.

DETROIT โ Police are looking for three people wanted in connection to an carjacking early Sunday morning. According to authorities, it happened at about 3:30 a.m. at a gas station in the 11800 block of Conner Street. Police said a three people approached a 20-year-old man who was pumping gas and demanded his 2011 Dodge Charger at gunpoint. Police said one suspect entered the Dodge and drove south on Conner Street and the other two suspects followed in a 2017 silver Chevrolet Impala. One of the suspect entered the victimโs vehicle and fled south on Conner with the remaining two suspects following in a silver 2017 Chevy Impala.

The 37-year-old Flat Rock man was pulled over around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on northbound I-75 near Lapeer Road in Auburn Hills. VIDEO: Thieves steal multiple cars from dealership on Detroit's west side
DETROIT - Police are looking for multiple suspects after several cars were stolen from a dealership in Detroit. According to authorities, Dymix Used Autos on Freeland Street, just south of West Chicago Street, had seven cars stolen from the dealership's garage. The thieves took a Dodge Charger and used it to pry their way inside the garage. He said once the thieves created a pathway, the vehiclers were taken in about 30 minutes. It's a huge financial loss for the dealership, but the business plans to stick around and increase security to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Detroit auto dealer decides not to press charges after stolen Dodge Charger returned
DETROIT - A young driver who sped off with a stolen Dodge Charger won't face any legal trouble after catching a major break from a Detroit auto dealer. Last week, a man came looking for a car, but it appears as though he had no intention of paying for a 2008 Charger. Surveillance video shows the man taking off. After a quick check of the surveillance video and talking, the owner and salesman recalled someone calling the same day and asking about the car. He was able to locate the Charger in the same condition it was in when it was stolen.
