Assistant coach Dominique Ducharme was appointed interim coach, and Alex Burrows was added to the Canadiensโ coaching staff. Muller took over the head coaching duties and the Habs extended the top-seeded Philadelphia Flyers to six games before bowing out. Ducharme joined the Canadiens' coaching staff in April 2018 after 10 seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The announcement affects M&T Bank Stadium, where the Baltimore Ravens play, and FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, where the Washington Football Team plays. M&T Bank Stadium has a total capacity of 71,008 and FedEx Field has a capacity of 82,000. ___Toronto FC will play before fans at its Nov. 1 game against Inter Miami CF in East Hartford, Connecticut. NY Rangers select Lafreniere with No. 1 pick in NHL draft
Alexis Lafreniere wanted to take the stage at Montrealโs Bell Centre near his home and hear his name announced at the NHL draft. From suburban Montreal, he was the first to earn both Canadian Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League MVP honors in consecutive seasons since Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby in 2004 and โ05. The Canadiens lost 4-2 to the Detroit Red Wings in their home opener on Thursday night, Montreal's third defeat in a week. Darren Helm, Tyler Bertuzzi and Luke Glendenning also scored for the Red Wings, who have three wins in four games this season. With the score tied 2-2 in the second period, Mantha scored the eventual winner on the power play at 15:38.
