63-year-old man killed in shooting on Detroitโs west side
DETROIT โ A man was fatally shot in a vehicle at about midnight Sunday on Detroitโs west side. According to authorities, a 63-year-old man was found shot sitting in the driverโs seat of a black Oldsmobile Aurora after gunshots were heard. Police said it happened near the intersection of Stawell Avenue and Ohio Street, just east of Oakman Boulevard. Emergency medical crews pronounced the man dead at the scene. House destroyed in explosion on Detroitโs west side
DETROIT โ A house was destroyed Saturday afternoon on Detroitโs west side in a potential gas explosion. The house was located on LaBelle Street, near 14th Street and Oakman Boulevard. Authorities are searching to find the woman who resided there and trying to determine if she was home at the time of the explosion. Man wanted for Dearborn road rage incident that left victim hospitalized after being shot multiple times
DEARBORN, Mich. Police are investigating a shooting that happened during a road rage incident near Oakman Boulevard and Warren Avenue in Dearborn on Sunday. The victim was shot multiple times and hospitalized. Officials are still searching for 25-year-old, Jawad Aref Bazzi, who has been identified as a person of interest. Bazzi is described as an Arab American, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with black short hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a silver 2020 Ford F-150 with black stripes on the driver and passenger doors.
