According to authorities, between 2:50 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., several Detroit businesses were broken into. Police said a gas station near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Mt. Police described the suspects as four Black men who were driving a white Dodge Charger with two black racing stripes on it.
Detroit police: 84-year-old man fatally struck by car on Warren Avenue near Woodmont
DETROIT โ An 84-year-old man was fatally struck by a car Sunday evening on West Warren Avenue near Woodmont Avenue, Detroit police said. The man was hit in the roadway by a silver Honda sedan about 6:10 p.m. The driver stopped, police said. Medics rushed the man to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries. DETROIT โ Police searched a lot just south of the I-96 and I-94 interchange Thursday morning to look for answer in what could be another freeway shooting. Police responded to the scene, located off Tillman Street and Warren Avenue, just after 10 a.m. after multiple 911 calls reported gunshots. Armed man killed by Detroit police after womanโs murder, police station shooting, DPD says
DETROIT โ A man armed with a high-powered rifle was killed during a shootout with police after he murdered a woman over a child custody issue and fired shots into a police station, according to authorities. Detroit police Chief James Craig said the man involved in the shooting approached the Fifth Precinct in a large, black SUV and got out with a โhigh-poweredโ rifle. He fired about four shots into the police station, Craig said. The lieutenant at the desk put out a call for help, and as units responded, the armed man left the front area of the police station, according to authorities. When he came across one of the responding police vehicles, the man fired at it, hitting it at least once in the windshield, officials said.

She is reportedly in good physical health but has a mental health disorder. DEARBORN, Mich. Police are investigating a shooting that happened during a road rage incident near Oakman Boulevard and Warren Avenue in Dearborn on Sunday. The victim was shot multiple times and hospitalized. Officials are still searching for 25-year-old, Jawad Aref Bazzi, who has been identified as a person of interest. Bazzi is described as an Arab American, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with black short hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a silver 2020 Ford F-150 with black stripes on the driver and passenger doors.
Detroit police seek driver who lost control doing donuts, injured 3 people
DETROIT Police are seeking the driver of a gray Dodge Charger who allegedly injured three people early Monday morning. According to officials at about 2:10 a.m. the three individuals were watching the unknown driver of the Dodge Charger do donuts in the area of Livernois and West Warren Avenue. Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the three pedestrians and then fled south on Livernois. All three victims were taken to the hospital -- two were listed in critical condition and one was listed in temporary serious condition. Cynthia Royal was last seen at 4 p.m. when she left her sons house in the 5700 block of Beaconsfield after an argument, according to police. She was last seen walking down Nottingham, just past Warren Avenue. She weighs between 120-130 pounds, has brown eyes, short black hair, according to police. Children injured when vehicle traveling more than 80 mph slams into SUV on Detroitโs east side
DETROIT โ Two children were injured Tuesday afternoon when the vehicle they were in slammed into another vehicle in Detroit. An SUV was pulling onto E. Warren Avenue from Algonquin Street when it was hit by a black Cadillac Escalade that was traveling more than 80 mph, officials said. The children were in the Escalade, which ran into a tree after striking the SUV. A woman who witnessed the crash described seeing the Escalade speeding before smashing into the other vehicle. All four people who were in the Escalade, including the two young children, were taken to a hospital.

DETROIT - A woman is missing after a nursing home fire Monday morning in Detroit. One person was killed in the fire at the St. Joseph Manor nursing home on Cadieux Road near Warren Avenue. The building was partially evacuated after the fire was reported about 3:30 a.m.Eunice Pugh, who nursing home care workers said has severe dementia, wandered away from the nursing home during the fire. Nursing home workers said she may be very confused and lost. "It could have been a lot worse, yes," said Detroit Police Sgt.
