Houston, we have a national champion as the Michigan Wolverines rushed to glory to cap off a tumultuous season perfectly, defeating the Washington Huskies 34-10 to capture their first outright national championship since 1948.

One Metro Detroit family won't be rooting for the Wolverines, though, and it's not because they're Michigan State Spartan fans. Twin brothers Jayvon and Armon Parker graduated from Dearborn Public Schools but now play for the Huskies.
