Tornado watch issued for Washtenaw, Monroe, Lenawee counties

Watch is in effect until 11 p.m.

4Warn Weather – The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado watch for Washtenaw, Monroe, and Lenawee counties until 11 p.m.

The warning was issued Tuesday (May 7) at 4:56 p.m. for Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham, Iona, Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe, and Washtenaw counties, which includes the city of Ann Arbor.

The tornado watch could produce a couple of tornados and scattered hail up to two inches with scattered gusts up to 70mph possible.
