Line of strong storms to impact Metro Detroit on Wednesday -- here’s what to expect

4Warn Weather – A 4Warn Weather Alert day is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and evening as a line of strong storms moves through Metro Detroit.

Here is the timeline:

Midnight to 8 a.m.

Scattered showers.

8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We will dry out and get some sunshine. The more sun we have the more unstable the atmosphere will become. This will lead to the possibility of stronger storms.

3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A line of strong to severe storms will move through most of Metro Detroit. Wind gusts over 60mph, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are the main threats.
