4Warn Weather – Get ready for some freezing cold weather Wednesday night and Thursday morning—cold enough to need a winter hat!

A Freeze Watch has been issued for all of Metro Detroit from midnight Thursday until 8 a.m. Thursday morning.

Overnight showers will come to an end with our low dropping to 38 degrees.

Wednesday

Wednesday, skies will gradually start to clear out, leaving us with sunshine and a high of 51. It will be breezy and cool, with winds gusting 10-20mph.

Mid-week forecast

Overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning, temperatures drop into the upper 20s to low 30s. But by the time the draft rolls around, temperatures should be around 50 degrees with clear skies.

Weekend forecast

Anticipate a transition from winter gear to shorts and t-shirts over the weekend, as we have a remarkably dynamic forecast to discuss tonight at 11 p.m.

In an unusual move in court, the judge allowed the family of the victims in the crash to speak - before a decision on bond was made.
