4Warn Weather – Like the last few days, today and Saturday features more of the same with more heat, humidity, and a few storms. However some more pleasant changes are on the way for next week.

After another active afternoon, we’re looking to see more quiet conditions during the overnight as temperatures drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s. After a mild and muggy start to your Saturday, we climb into the lower 90s for highs in the afternoon. But when you again factor in the humidity, it will feel like it’s in the upper 90s in the afternoon. Once again Saturday a few spotty showers and storms will be possible, but these chances look smaller compared to what we’ve seen this week. It looks like a lot of us will stay dry Saturday.

Overnight Saturday into early Sunday is when we see our best chance for area-wide showers as a cold front comes through. This will occur while most of us are asleep, but a few showers may still be around when you wake up Sunday morning.

The front that comes through this weekend will also bring a nice air-mass change for next week. The humidity will go down, as will temperatures. By Monday highs are in the middle 80s.

Speaking of Monday, that is the day of the Ford Fireworks in downtown, and the weather looks great! Sunset is about 9:12pm Monday, and we’ll be in the 70s after sunset under mainly clear skies.

Another system brings another chance for showers and storms Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, which is then followed by another cool down. Highs Thursday and Friday will be in the lower 80s.
