4Warn Weather – Here’s a look at what weather to expect for Halloween in Metro Detroit.

Showers this Afternoon/Evening

  • Few scattered showers are moving through this afternoon, and a few drops may even linger into the evening.
  • Latest high resolution data has a few showers sticking around through 7pm this evening.
  • Rain exits from west to east, so the further west you are, the earlier you dry out.

Strong Winds Around

  • Regardless of any rain, the winds are pretty high and will gust over 40mph at times this evening.
  • While winds are not as high Friday, they’re still gusting over 20mph at times for the first half of the day.

Cooler this Weekend

  • Behind this system, things really cool down this weekend.
  • Highs Friday will struggle to get into the lower to middle 50s, and we’ll top out in the upper 50s by Sunday.
  • While this is a good deal cooler compared to where we’ve been the last two days, it will be closer to where we should be this time of the year.

More Rain Early Next Week

  • Still on track for more rain to return later Sunday, but especially Monday and Tuesday of next week.
