4Warn Weather – Friday evening will be cold and windy with a few spotty showers. While it will not be as cold as Thursday, wind chills will make it feel close to freezing in Southeast Michigan.
The better chance of sprinkles will be on the east side of the metro and the Thumb. Otherwise, it will be cloudy. Lows will fall to around 40 degrees overnight. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10 to 15 mph. Gusts will be up to 25 mph near Detroit and up to 30 mph in the Thumb.
Saturday and Sunday
This weekend will be mostly cloudy, but a stray shower will be possible on Saturday, mainly near the Lake Huron shoreline.
Saturday and Sunday’s highs will be mid to upper 40s with temperatures near 50 degrees in Downtown Detroit. Saturday night’s lows will be in the mid 30s, and Sunday night’s lows will be around 40 degrees.
Lions take on the Colts
Heading to Indianapolis for the Lions game against the Colts on Sunday? It will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Temperatures will be around 50 degrees at the 1 p.m. kickoff time with highs in the mid 50s.
Back in Southeast Michigan, a few rain showers will develop late Sunday night into Monday morning.
Monday
A few more rain showers will be possible during the day Monday and night. Highs will get back into the lower 50s. Monday night’s lows will be in the lower to mid 30s.
Tuesday and Wednesday
Tuesday and Wednesday, which are expected to be very busy travel days, will have highs in the lower to mid 40s. Southeast Michigan will have a slight chance of isolated showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, but some areas will remain dry.
Thanksgiving
Thursday, or Thanksgiving, will be mostly cloudy and cool. Morning temperatures will be in the 30s with an afternoon high around 40 degrees. While most of Southeast Michigan will remain dry, a stray rain or snow shower is possible. The Ohio Valley will have a better chance of rain.
