Wet weather continues amid warming trend in Metro Detroit

Temperatures to peak around 50 degrees Monday

The rain chances will dwindle Sunday afternoon, and isolated rain showers are expected to exit Southeast Michigan by early evening.

Otherwise, it will be cloudy. Lions tailgaters should be prepared with rain jackets or ponchos. Highs will be around 40 degrees, and winds will be southeasterly at 8 to 12 mph. Gusts will be up to 20 mph.

Sunday night, it will be cloudy with a chance of patchy fog. Lows will be in the mid 30s. Winds will be out of the south-southeast around 5 mph.

While Monday morning will be cloudy, rain will return for Metro Detroit’s afternoon commute and evening hours. Afternoon temperatures will rise to around 50 degrees.

Monday night will be cloudy with lows in the mid 30s.

Cooler air will start to push into Southeast Michigan on Tuesday. Under mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will peak in the lower to mid 40s. Lows will be around 30 degrees.

Wet weather is expected to return on Wednesday. There will be a chance of scattered rain and snow showers. Seasonable highs will be in the upper 30s, and lows will fall to the lower to mid 20s.

Highs will be in the lower 30s on Thursday and Friday. Skies will be mostly cloudy both days, but Friday will have the chance of a few snow showers.

Saturday will be slightly colder with highs in the upper 20s. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries.
